Retired U.S. Diplomat & Author

Ms. Vella Mbenna was born and raised in Midway, Georgia and graduated from Georgia Southern College.  She served as a U. S. diplomat in 13 foreign countries on 5 continents.

Ms. Mbenna authored the book “Muddy Roads Blue Skies- My Journey to the Foreign Service from the Rural South to Tanzania and Beyond”.
