The Friends of the Callahan Branch Library operate a popular Used Book Sale at the Callahan Branch Library! Titles are available at the following price points:
- Adult / Young Adult Large Paperback & Hardcover Books: $1.00
- Audiobooks: $1.00
- Small Paperback Books: $.50
- Children’s Books: $.25
Purchases can be made in cash only.
Friends Co-Sponsored Poetry Slam
The “Friends” co-sponsored a Poetry Slam on April 30.
Callahan Creative Writing Workshop also co-sponsored the event.
Participants read a poem by a favorite poet…
…or read a poem of their own creation!
The event was held in celebration of National Poetry Month.
