Art of the Car Exhibit
March 3 @ 10:00 am - April 8 @ 5:00 pm

The Friends of the Nassau County Public Library will be hosting a brand new art exhibit.
Some of the items you will find on display include two signed prints from artist Alan Fearnley. Born in the United Kingdom, Fearnley is one of the leading automotive artists in the world. His oil painting techniques make the cars seem to come to life. “Art of the Car” will also feature a print from Nicolas Watts who, from an early age, fell in love with automobiles. A self-taught artist, Watts has devoted his career to capturing auto racing from different perspectives.
In addition to many pieces of framed art, the exhibit also features a museum quality model car collection on loan from Al Grammel, owner of Eight Flag Motorsports. Numerous other exhibit loans came from Jerry King, Peter Hill, Jo-Ann Leimberg, Brian Douglas, Jim Hogan, and many others.
The Art of the Car will be running from March 3rd through April 8th at the Fernandina Beach Branch.
