Summer Library Program 2018
“LIBRARIES ROCK”
Libraries Rock is our Summer Reading 2018 Theme. Reading throughout the summer months while out of school will enhance your child’s reading skills and love of learning to prepare them for a better school experience when they return to school.
Register your children birth to 11yrs of age to participate in reading with us this summer. Once you click the link below and register each child, visit your local library to receive a bag for each child you register. Each bag contains a reading log, stickers (which will be placed on the reading log for every book the child reads or you read to them) and fun activity sheets. Every week when you visit the library to select more reading materials, your child will show their reading log to the circulation staff upon their check out and they will receive a prize for their reward for reading (while supplies last).
Registration for “Libraries Rock” Summer Reading Program will begin in May 2018. If you would like to share how our libraries rock your world and has impacted or changed you or your child, please share your story by making a short video or write about it and submit to Michelle Forde, Youth Librarian via email at mforde@nassaucountyfl.com We would love to know how our programs and libraries benefit you as a family. Your feed back is valued.
Registration will begin May 1, 2018 and will run until July 31, 2018
