Summer Reading time is almost here! The theme for this year’s summer reading program is “All Together Now.” This theme is being used by many libraries across Florida and across the country. The hope is that the title “All Together Now” will cause people to think about the commonalities between them instead of what divides them.

Passport Awareness Month is all about motivating people to apply for their passport in the fall or winter when demand is down. This year, we are also encouraging people to routinely check their passport’s expiration date and remember that many countries require a minimum of six months of passport validity. Friends of the Fernandina Beach Library (FOL) are pleased to announce the opening of their latest art exhibit “Air and Water.The Art of Mingming.” It will run July 6 thru October 29, 2022. This exhibit will showcase the watercolor plein air and oil painting work of Mingming Bowerson, a local artist.
