Fernandina Beach Branch Library
Friends of the Library Offers FREE Computer Classes
Friends of the Library is offering a series of FREE computer classes, the first focusing on choosing the right email provider. This ongoing course will be taught by Deryck Burnett, owner of Megabite Computer Services. Deryck has been serving Nassau County for over 9 years as a registered partner of Microsoft.
This monthly workshop will be one hour in length. The first half of each class will be used for presentation of material and the second part will be hands-on. In future classes, Mr. Burnett will be teaching the basics of PC’s and MAC’s, as well as other computer programs including use of tablets and smart phones.
The first class will be held in the Fernandina Beach Library Tech Lab at 24 N. 4th St., on Saturday, March 25, from noon to 1:00 p.m. Registration is necessary as class size will be limited to 12 participants. To register, please call the library at 904-530-6500, Extension 1.
